Home Made Jam performing ‘Take Me in Your Lifeboat’
Formed in 1997, Home Made Jam perform contemporary & traditional bluegrass music at festivals, folk clubs and private functions throughout Scotland and further afield. Recent highlights include UK bluegrass festivals at Didmarton, Coastline, Guildtown and Moniaive in addition to Linlithgow Music Festival.
With a mixture of original and cover material, the band have drawn on influences from artists past and present such as Natalie Maines, Dan Tyminski, Ricky Skaggs and the Stanley Brothers.

The band also host a number of open bluegrass sessions including a monthly event in Edinburgh’s Tass Bar.
Home Made Jam have just completed their second album Beauty Of This Life which follows their first recording Heart to Heart (2006).
